David Chen helped us sell our apartment in Greenwich Village and we couldn''t have been more pleased with the experience. When we look back on our interaction with him throughout many weeks, two things that stood out very early are his punctuality and availability. We could tell immediately that he prides himself on being on time, as well as valuing other people''s time. We also really appreciated that he always responded to our texts and emails in a timely manner and we felt comfortable knowing that we never had to go on for days without hearing from him. Aside from those admirable qualities, David also has been a Manhattan resident his entire life and knows the city inside out. And perhaps most importantly, we realized over time that he is someone you can truly trust and rely on. Let''s face it, buying or selling a place is a grueling and stressful process! But with David by our side, we felt at ease knowing that he had our best interest at heart and he never once felt like an agent who was in a rush to make the money and move onto the next listing. I highly recommend David to anyone looking for a trustworthy, competent and personable agent.

"We recently purchased our co-op apartment in Midtown and our experience with David Chen couldn''t have been better. David is professional, knowledgeable, patient, and hard working. He has been our partner throughout the multi-month buying journey and really put in a lot of efforts to understand our needs, did in depth research of the buildings and many times previewed the units before presenting them to us so our apartment hunting trips could be the most productive. He is a person would do everything to accommodate his clients, even if it means he has to work many odd hours. David''s knowledge of the buildings and their boards made our co-op board interview process (supposed to be one of the toughest board interviews in the city) appeared to be a piece of cake. I had the pleasure of working with David Chen last year December. This was my first time using a Realtor and I was skeptical, as I heard that NYC Realtor are sneaking. Fortunately, that was not the case! I was eager to find a apartment for my husband and I in Manhattan. I looked up David Chen''s profile and read his reviews and felt he would be as good catch. I was right, he was professional, smart, and down to earth. That was my impression after meeting him one time. Unfortunately, we didn''t land an apartment with David. However, he shared vital advice which encouraged us to start saving and look into buying instead of renting. Currently, we are in the process of saving to by a coop this year ( fingers cross). I must add, with his background in finance--you cant go wrong. He is great with numbers, realistic , and above all trustworthy. I would recommend his services to anyone. Know what you want and David Chen will do his best to find it for you.

David Chen was very proactive through out the process. Listened to what my needs were and got my questions answered on a timely manner. He sent me listings and followed up proactively. He also helped me with the mortgage and closing processes and reminded me of the timeline to ensure a smooth closing. David was sincere and took client service to heart. I appreciated very much what he did from apartment hunting, price negotiation, to closing.

David was awesome. My girlfriend and I had a very short window in terms of finding an apartment and given our very busy schedules at the time, we had one day to find a new place and get all the necessary paper work taken care of. Fortunately for us, David was up for the challenge. We had a very specific idea of what we were looking for in terms of square footage, price, and location but he maintained our expectations, so that we were realistic. That being said, within short notice he was able to not only compile a list of apartments that fit our criteria, but he also spent an entire day with us, trekking up and down the Upper East Side for hours until our feet were on fire! He wasn''t your typical broker that only cared about the fee he would collect, but he made sure to try to meet most of our needs above all else. After a full days search, we were able to find the perfect one bedroom for a very reasonable price as well as submit the application for the apartment within a few hours of seeing it. It’s been a month since then, and it’s safe to say that we love our new place and have no regrets whatsoever. Thanks David for making this extremely stressful process very easy!

This review is specifically for David Chen. Last year I bought my first apartment - a process that can be pretty overwhelming anywhere, but especially so in NYC. Thankfully I met Dave very early on in my search! Dave was really knowledgeable about the whole process and the UES (where my search was focused) and patiently answered my seemingly endless stream of questions. He really listened to what I was looking for, and as a result I was able to see a ton of apartments that actually fit my criteria. Most importantly for me, though, Dave is just a genuinely nice, friendly guy who dispelled my previous notion that pretty much all brokers in NY are shady. I completely trusted Dave and knew he had my best interest in mind, I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

Originally having decided to buy an apartment, I worked with David for two months trying to find what I was looking for. David was always available and we saw many apartments together. It was never a problem to set up appointments for the weekends or the weekdays. After reviewing the market I then decided to rent an apartment instead. This was not a problem for David and we quickly found a suitable apartment. The transaction was smooth and the move in quick. The payment was also easily adjusted for my taste. I would recommend David to anyone looking to buy or rent in New York. He was an immense help and always polite, timely, and professional.
